Fruits for Blood Type O

Type O

Loads of fruits are available for the Type O Diet. They’re importante source of fibre, vitamins and minerals, therefore an excellent alternative to breads and pasta for type O’s. For sure that if you eat a pice of fruit rather than a slice of bread, your system will be better served and you’ll be helping yourself in any weight-loss goals.

Plums, prunes and figs are so beneficial to this blood type because these fruits tend to cause an alkaline, rather than a acidic reaction in the digestive tract. As we known the acidity in the digestive tract in type O’s are really high so we need to balance the alkaline to reduce the chance of stomach ulcers and irritations. But, there’s always a but, doesn’t mean that all the fruits are good. If we take Melons, they’re also alkaline, but they contain high mould counts and type O’s are sensible with this, so as a type O, me and you, we should eat melons with moderation.

And the ones that have high acidity should be avoid. I’m talking about: oranges, tangerines and strawberries. Another tip is that type O’s should avoid blackberries, cause they contain lectin that aggravates digestion.

So, here the ones to AVOID: Blackberries, coconuts, melon, oranges, plantains, rhubarb, strawberries and tangerines.

And the ones highly beneficial: Figs, plums and prunes.
